Introduction of SX Sound Set

SX-80

SX80 offers the power and presence of floorstanding speakers at an exceptionally competitive price. They deliver an effortless, full-range soundstage that captures the scale and weight of even the largest and most demanding passages of music whilst maintaining the speed and finesse of their smaller relatives.

SX-60

SX60 standmount speakers build on the strengths of the SX50s but with a larger footprint. They can work happily in bigger spaces whilst still affording you considerable flexibility in terms of placement.

SX-70

The centre speaker has one of the most demanding roles in audio. It has to deliver critical information on the screen at the same time as tying the image from the left and right speakers into one seamless soundstage.

SX-120

Even though it handles a smaller part of the overall frequency response than any other speaker, a subwoofer requires careful design and engineering. It has to deliver deep, powerful bass that is fast and well defined enough to integrate seamlessly with your other speakers. The SX120 subwoofer was designed from the ground up by our engineers in London, with a custom 8-inch driver and a powerful 70W RMS amplifier. Components were carefully handpicked and then painstakingly voiced as complete units to meet these demanding criteria.

SX Series speakers all make use of mid bass drivers that are made from treated paper. This might not sound terribly high tech, but the impressive strength to weight ratio is matched by excellent tonality so instrumentation sounds clear, well defined and believable. Taking care of the higher frequencies is a soft dome tweeter made from treated silk that offers the same balance of realism and refinement.

Great care and attention has gone into the design of the crossovers in SX Series. As they are entirely responsible for ensuring that each driver receives the correct frequency, we have worked hard to deliver this requirement as efficiently as possible. Timing and stereo imaging are accurate because the phase remains completely linear from top to bottom.
